This new group meets regularly at 10.00am on the 2nd Wednesday of the month and 2.00 pm on the 4th Wednesday of the month at Humberstone Heights, Gipsy Lane and to play on the 9 hole Pitch and Putt course.
It's a fun social activity, so everyone is welcome no matter if they're newbies or experienced. We'll draw cards for playing groups so hopefully there will be a good mix where newbies can get advice from the more experienced and exchange golfing stories over coffee after the session!
The cost is £8.80 per session reduced to £6.60 if you have an Active Leicester Card. The card is free, you just have to visit Active Leicester Card - select "Join Now", then "Pay as you go" then select "Humberstone Golf Club" from the drop down menu and register your details. You will be issued with your card on your first visit.
Important - There is an additional cost of £4 for hire of clubs and ball - so you might like to beg, borrow or buy a 7 iron, a putter and balls. If you want to get hold of cheap but usable clubs the Reuse Shop on the Leicester City recycling centre always has a stock of second hand – preloved if you prefer – clubs.
