Monthly Meeting Magic

Our u3a monthly meetings are 2.00 to 4.00pm on the fourth Thursday of the month in St Peter's Church Centre, Church Road, Glenfield, LE3 8DP and are a great way to learn more about our u3a. Lots to see, lively chat, informative and entertaining speakers and a free cup of tea / coffee!! You will be made very welcome.

"On 7th August 19 members went on a canal boat trip on the Leicester branch of the Grand Union Canal and River Soar courtesy of Peter Le Marchant. We enjoyed a gentle cruise, with refreshments provided by the crew, to Mountsorrel where we had a really nice meal at the Waterside Inn. The return also included refreshments!! Many thanks to the volunteers who looked after us so well. Peter le Marchant is a charity that has adapted boats to make trips available to all. It's run by volunteers so is always on the lookout for more. If you are interested google Peter le Marchant for more information
